Interests: We are rich and wealthy in terms of our reality, experiences and contributions. Yet, much of these remain largely invisible within the larger context of Singapore's society and culture. Of course, there are many reasons for this, and one of the most important is that we are largely invisible to ourselves. Therefore, perhaps it is not a contributions acknowledged by our peers but it is ourselves, who have remained hidden and hence, no one has come forward to claim the prize.

| let me share some news. good news and bad news. ok let me start with the good one first...
the first one is that my pay will be raised. in fact my salary had been adjusted on sat, 24th june. yippy....!
another good news is that ive finally managed to quit. yeap, i had my last pack few days back and i can survive without it. so iam waiting for yana to treat me coz she said that she will give me a treat should i quit. hah... so after 2 years of doing unhealthy stuff, i can know say... iam healthy!
ok here comes the bad news.
1st bad news : erm... iam actually still waiting for my application to be approved by my dean to resume my semester on the 24th july. i went to the college to submit the form. met kai syng and to my surprise she was so delighted to see me. from what ive heared from my friends, she have changed from a ferocious monster to a bubbly, pleasant lecturer. hah....
so iam hoping that the college will call me soon.
and my 2nd bad news is..... drum roll..... ching...! i lost my specs! i mean, its been missing for the past two weeks. but now its official that it is really missing. well, the story goes like this, one morning, i and my siblings went to visit the zoo. somehow i had a strong feeling that i should be wearing my specs on the trip, not knowing that that would probably be the last time. right after the trip, i went to PA, for a combined rehearsal. there, i have asked lia to hold on to my specs because she was carrying a bag and before we proceed to the stadium we had to leave our bags at PA. so she kept my specs in her bag along with my small bag.
after the rehearsal, we got back to PA. collected her bag and my bag ib her bag. and found my specs missing. looked around. no sign of my specs. so lia said something like: "maybe orang curi tak?" but that would be impossible because my specs was in my small bag and my small bag was in lia's bag. i mean, my wallet was in may bag too. of all things, why would anyone chose my specs instead of my wallet...? so we have come to conclusion that somehow the specs slipped through my bag or something.
duh
so the pictures below are taken during our trip to the zoo. and that would probably be the last time you will get to see me with that specs.

for some of you who might know, iam well known among my friends for losing my things. and this is something i can never be proud of. some of the things are: my swatch watch bear gave me some time ago. i lost it. and a few months after, more than 20 csc colleagues shared money and bought me another swatch watch for my birthday. 2 months after that, i lost it. i lost my blue specs last year. and early this year i got the black-pink specs. and i lost it again. the expensive silver bangle izza and gang bought for me was also lost!
those are some of the few things i can remember. there were a lot more stuff i have lost. haiz...
it's not that i don't appreciate things ah. but that's just me lor. what to do..
so if one day i lost you, please bring yourself back to me and remind me k.

| yesterday, went back to school after knocking off at 6pm. met shahid at lasalle main entrance bustop. inna, who invited me over to her fine arts graduation showcase walked us around the gallery.
 
these are some of the many brilliant artworks done by the graduating students. and the one below are two peices of canvas paintings done by inna herself. i thought that her work was fabullous! you probably can't see the details from the pics but if you come close to it, it was just fantastic. it was named soil and field.

Level 2 BA (Hons) in Fine Arts students. Some of the works showcased
include the sublime and ephemeral presence of art objects, paintings and
prints of sensory phenomena as well as sculptural and spatial delights of
the mind. This showing marks the progress of the students' artistic pursuits
and conceptual negotiations over two years of their three-year degree programme.

my ndp rehearsals had been great. we have completed all the dance steps and formations. please don't forget to catch the national day parade, which i don't have to tell you when. mine would be act 1, so probably would be after the marchpass.
